You folks who consider the Covid-19 vaccines to be very risky have some basis for thinking such.

Simon, while it is true that the churches teach that Christ died in the sense of Christ's human body having died, they also teach that Christ both had and has an immoral soul/spirit which never died. In that latter sense they believe and teach that Christ (whom they also teach is God and thus immortal) never died.

Rocketman123, a moment ago while reading the WT's book called The Finished Mystery (1917 edition) I cam across the word "Churchianity" in the book's explanation of Ezekiel 28:20 - 22. There it seems to be equated with the idea that "men must belong to a church organization". Commentary relating to the term says "The Jews shall enjoy God's earthly blessings, and the true Christians His Heavenly blessings, when He has executed justly earned judgments upon the people that have adhered to or taught the belong-to-a-church-or-go-to-hell idea." The JW religion has now effectively become that which they condemned in 1917 as churchianity. The following are some online mainstream definitions of churchianity.

Notice that the Moderna vaccine does not include ethanol and it appears (as far as I can tell) to not include any other alcohol. I received the Moderna vaccine - I chose that one specifically, because I had the impression it is likely the safest of the three vaccines, as well as being highly effective.

NotNew, I think most (if not all) of the chemicals you listed are in the vaccine for the purpose of being preservatives, not to kill the virus. Most, if not all of those chemicals, are in many processed foods for the purpose of being preservatives (so bacterial won't grow in them causing them to go bad) and some are also in processed foods for flavor. They (at least some of them) are not experimental chemicals and a number of them are naturally present in food. For examples consider the following. Sodium chloride is simply the chemical name for common table salt. Potassium chloride is a salt which is naturally present in sea water and is an ingredient in a number of processed foods. Acetic acid is a natural product of fermentation of some foods and it is an ingredient in a number of processed foods. Sucrose is the chemical name of a common sugar which naturally present in sweet tasting plants and it is the common table sugar.

When I received the vaccine I didn't feel even a little bit intoxicated from alcohol, thus the amount of alcohol (namely the kind present in wine, ethanol) in the vaccine dose is very likely harmless. Many, if not all, vaccines include one or more preservatives.

The ingredient which makes the vaccine work is that which is listed as the active ingredient.

Thanks folks for providing more details/documentation about the reasons for your concerns about the Covid-19 vaccines. About 20 minutes ago on the NBC televised news I saw the broadcast mention cases of teens and young adults who got inflamed hearts after receiving the vaccine. I received my vaccine dose about 1 hour and 45 minutes before I saw that news video. I'm now thinking the vaccine might be more risky than I thought. It seems that some of the things which are happening to some people who receive the vaccine are some of the same things which happened last year to some people who became hospitalized due to contracting a severe case of Covid-19.

The flu vaccines don't guarantee that a person will never get a flu either, but ever since I have been getting the flu vaccines I haven't had the flu, whereas previously I had severe flu at least once in every two year period while I held a job away from my home. The Covid-19 vaccine greatly reduces my chances of contracting Covid-19 until the time of my future booster shot.

NotNew, what sources do you have saying that the Covid-19 vaccines available in the USA are dangerous? What sources do you have saying that they contain dangerous amounts of ethanol or any ethanol at all?

In my locality about 70% of the adult population already has received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. Further my employer is offering to pay all of its workers a $25 gift card to get vaccinated by the end of this month, the employer is offering to pay all of its workers an additional $25 gift card after at least 90% of the workers become fully vaccinated. They are also paying for time off to get vaccinated and to rest after receiving the vaccine doses. Do you think they are being foolish to strongly urge us to get vaccinated?

fulano, your post in reply to me is very strange, to me. Obviously I don't believe in everything (which is essentially the sense you are using the word "anything", for you claim to believe that I will believe anything I read or hear), for I reject the belief that the vaccine alters human genes, for example. I also reject creationism and I am convinced of evolution.

I follow the science, not baseless rumors. I don't believe there will be any long-term adverse side effects for me in receiving the Covid-19 vaccination, just as I haven't had any long-term negative effects from any of the other vaccines I have received. If, hypothetically speaking, I do experience long-term adverse side effects from the Covid-19 vaccination then ultimately I will be the one who is responsible since I made the choice to receive it, based upon the information I studied.

Likewise if you don't receive a Covid-19 vaccine and if you later contract the Covid-19 induced disease and experience long-term adverse health problems as result, who will be responsible for such happening to you?

i recently had this in a message from a jw, a lovely person, but mind controlled, he wrote " a life without hope is no life for me".. how should i respond to that ?

i am an atheist, but want to respond in as kindly a way as possible.. i was thinking along the lies of saying i got no comfort from what i knew to be false hope, but need to say it in a kindly way.. ideas please ?.

In my prior post where I said "without any detrimental effects" I wish I had said "without any detrimental effects and without feeling sleepy". Where I said "... Jehovah.Those WT teaches ..." I meant to say "... Jehovah. Those WT teachings ...". Where I said "... suggests such does not exist" I should have said "... suggests such do not exist". Where I said "... which lead me to atheism" I should have said "... which led me to atheism".
